Chico Commercial Video Production - Otto Construction Promotional Film - Living the Legacy

We recently have had the pleasure of working with a handful of awesome local businesses in Northern California and beyond! This is the story of a family owned Sacramento-based business, founded in 1947. With a focus on honesty, integrity and compassion for others, Otto Construction continues to pass along the legacy that has been passed down from generation to generation!

Otto Construction is based in Sacramento but has worked on many local projects here in Chico like some new Chico State buildings and the new courthouse off Bruce Road. They also do projects all over Sacramento and even down in Monterey area! Working with Otto on this online business promotional film was a great experience.

It was an honor to capture the story of a local business who is making a huge impact on the North State!

Chico Commercial Filmmaker - Athlete Committed Promotional Film

It's so fun seeing long term projects like this come together in the editing room. For this promotional video for the Chico Athlete Committed program, we filmed over the course of one entire school year. From the heated rivalry at Almond Bowl, to the big Chico vs PV basketball game at Chico State, we covered it all. Trying to represent this many local Chico sports was a challenge, but seeing it all come together in the end made it all worth it! John Shepard, principal of Pleasant Valley High School, was great to work with, willing to be the inspiring voiceover for this piece. As well as Jim Hanlon, principal of Chico High, who made time to make sure we could all the shots we needed. Butte County Department of Behavioral Health was behind this project, and it wouldn't have come together without the hard work of Ryan Gulbrandsen and Danelle Campbell! The whole team at Butte County Department of Behavioral Health does such amazing work with the youth here in Chico and it has been a huge pleasure to work with them over the years on projects like this and others.

Thank you to all the student athletes who were willing to be apart of the making of this promotional film, you will inspire others for years to come!

Creative Kickstarter Video Production - Shot Stats Challenger Kickstarter Film

You've seen the behind the scenes, now it's time to unveil the full Kickstarter film we produced for Shot Stats. Shot out in Atlanta, Georgia, and edited here at our home base in Chico, CA! We posted the final film awhile back on our Instagram, but it's actually never been posted here on the TréCreative blog.

Filmed over the course of three days, we wanted to create a compelling kickstarter film that could showcase the Shot Stats upcoming tennis accelerometer product in an exciting and fresh way. To truly fit the brand and feel of their advanced startup technology, we loved incorporating all the technical After Effects graphic overlays and interface animations into this Kickstarter film. It took quite a bit of long editing hours and late nights, but it was all worth it to see this final Kickstarter video come together just in time for their launch date!

It was a blast getting to know the team behind this amazing product. From our initial Skype session to the day we delivered the final film and launched their Kickstarter campaign, it was a pleasure working and collaborating with the Shot Stats team on this crowd funding video production!

So far this campaign is doing EXTREMELY well on Kickstarter, over the past month they've successfully exceed their goal of $75,000 and are still climbing as we type! We're SO excited for this team of entrepreneurs and the bright future this business has ahead of itself. We're honored they chose us to help them produce this Kickstarter film, and we look forward to future crowd funding filmmaking opportunities!
